Education

Sports and Exercise Sciences Major at West Texas A&M University, Incoming Freshman, 3.0 GPA, 2013 Honors Graduate of Randall High School.

Experience

I would like to be a tutor because want to help struggling students excel in their classes. My junior year of high school I took Dual Credit Philosophy and Dual Credit English the following year. Grades 9-11 I took Spanish 1-3 and I am fluent in Spanish as well. My English and writing skills have always been above average throughout my elementary and high school career, but they have improved tremendously after taking Dual Credit English last year. It's been one of my favorite subjects since I started school. Philosophy is a complex and challenging subject, but I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. It requires extra effort and studying as well as the ability to think from various perspectives. Spanish comes naturally to me because my mother made it a point to teach her children the value and importance of knowing the language at very young ages. My junior year I had the privilege of traveling to Austin, Texas for a State Academic Competition for Spanish.
